GROUPS

Whether you are a new disciple, a disciple maker, or somewhere in between, we believe the best way to connect with other believers and actively grow in your relationship with Christ is through studying God’s Word and actively participating in community with others. GROW GOUPS are small discipleship groups that meet throughout the week to help participants grow in their relationship with God. Many of these groups change seasonally. LIFE GROUPS are small groups that meet to study scripture, hear from God, and share life together. COMMUNITY GROUPS are groups that meet over a common interest or activity (knitting, theatre, cycling, running, travel etc.) Whether you participate in a Grow Group, Life Group, or Community Group, you are sure to find a group that will meet your spiritual needs. If you are looking for an in-depth, verse by verse study of scripture, a class on marriage, or a topical study we offer something that will meet your interests. Groups are a place to hear from God and share life together. Feel free to move from one group to another until you find the right fit for you!

On Wednesdays, beginning October 4, stop by the Fellowship Hall on the lower level and enjoy a free meal at Bistro before heading to your group at 7pm. Wednesday evening groups typically meet for 6 weeks, but be sure to check with your group for more details. Childcare is offered during most groups for those who pre-register, so be sure to sign up!

RECHARGERS

CONFERENCE ROOM, 10AM Facilitator: Karen McCauley Twelve Women of the Bible In this series, you will meet women in the Bible whose lives teach us about ourselves and about who God is. Their stories are not fairytales, their road was not easy, and their examples are not perfect. They lived in times and places quite different than ours. Yet they hold up a mirror to our souls that can help us better understand our own story. And in doing so, we find freedom to come to God as we are, with total transparency—honest and real.

EVANGELISM TRAINING - CONFERENCE ROOM, 7PM

Facilitator: Rev. Josh Davinsizer

Personal evangelism is sharing the message of Christ with others and how it's possible to have a relationship with Him. It sounds so simple, so why do we often find it so hard? If you are like most believers, you genuinely desire to share your faith, but the very thought of it both excites and terrifies you. In this class we will discover a few steps you can take to make personal evangelism feel more achievable in your own life. This hands-on class size is limited to 8, so be sure to sign up today! This 6-week class starts October 4.

LIFE GROUPS

WEDNESDAYS

INTERCESSORY PRAYER - Library, 10AM

Intercession happens when we reach beyond ourselves and our needs in prayer. When we feel a burden for someone else, we can be encouraged to bring that to the Lord, stand on their behalf, and seek His will for their lives. Our door is always open!

INTENTIONAL FAITH - LUKE ROOM, 7PM

Goliath Must Fall: Winning the Battle Against Your Giants

Facilitators: Steve & Dottie Myers
