OUR MISSIONARIES

Steve & Hannah Skinner

Steve is the Ecuador field treasurer. In this role, he supports the OMS Ecuador team and national partners through honestly and accurately managing the funds that have been donated for ministry.

Steve and Hannah minister weekly to a group of young teenage girls (ages 13-17) at a privately-run rehabilitation center. All of them have unfortunate and sad family stories, and all of them are struggling with alcohol and/or drug abuse. They see God working in powerful ways with these girls: by helping them forgive themselves and others, by helping them understand that God loves them and by helping them understand that they have value and significance.

Paulo & Fernanda Almeida

In 2010, Paulo and Fernanda had absolutely no idea of where God was leading them. They only knew that they were suppose to leave their country (Brazil) and their business to be missionaries. One small step at a time, God revealed his will to the Almeida family. The Almeidas moved from Brazil to Mozambique in 2012, where they are making disciples, building relationships, and equipping the saints, mainly among the Shangaan people. They want to see the OMS-related national church, Living Word, rooted in Scripture, reproducing other churches centered in Christ to spread the Gospel in Mozambique and beyond. They also lead a pioneer ministry called Chosen Generation to make Jesus know among their community through children’s ministry.

Pavlo & Halyna Lozynsky

Pavlo Lozynsky was born, grew up and became a Christ follower in Ukraine.  He later moved to Canada. God give him the desire to serve the Ukrainian people.  Pavlo has been serving the Lord in the city of Lviv, reaching out to unbelievers (mainly young students). They focus on three things: making disciples, growing leaders, and planting churches.

Lviv is a city of close to 1 million, and there's less than 1 percent of the population who trust and follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior. There are also many towns around Lviv where there is no single evangelical church, and I know God wants to involve us in changing that.

Global Immigrant Outreach

Immigrant Outreach Ministry exists to assist and encourage immigrants and refugees (diaspora) settling in a nation outside their passport country. The goal is to help these people establish themselves in a community and help them grow in their relationship and knowledge of Jesus Christ. This new ministry was created in response to globalization and seeing how God is bringing lost people into our local communities.

International Fellowship of Christians and Jews

“The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is the leading non-profit building bridges between Christians and Jews, blessing Israel and the Jewish people around the world with humanitarian care and lifesaving aid.

Founded in 1983 by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, we have been leaders in Jewish-Christian relations, building bridges of goodwill that have led to greater understanding and cooperation between members of these two great faiths. We have helped hundreds of thousands of Jews escape poverty and anti-Semitism and return to their biblical homeland, funded humanitarian assistance that has touched the lives of millions of Jews in Israel and around the world, provided life-giving aid to Israel’s victims of war and terror, and much more.”—www.IFCJ.org
